“Actoris” Defined
We chose the name of our company with care. Actoris is the plural form of the latin word Actor. You know this word best thinking of your favorite on-stage or screen celebrity.
But in its original usage, the word "Actor" was used as a designation for a specific role or job. A public official would be referred to as “Actoris Publicus.” So, it literally meant someone who performed a public or civil duty.
In that context, we chose Actoris Consulting to clearly define that we perform the duty of consulting, being a valued advisor to our clients.
